Special Announcements:
1. Ken Schilling’s CCC Spring Time Trial Series successfully wrapped up this weekend. Here is Ken’s report on the final results for this series:
“So, allow me to recap the “prize winners” results (…but y’all know that you’re all winners, right?..😁.)
Michele “The Lioness” Crouse: “one race fastest time”, Female ≤ 50 winner, w/ 19:17 total
time
David “Hard Luck” Glassner “one race fastest time”, Male ≤ 50 winner, w/ 16:05 total
time (…broke his chain yesterday and couldn’t ride…)
Randall “The King” Smith “one race fastest time”, Male ≥ 50 winner w/ 15:56 total
time & overall fastest time ( both “over/under 50”)
Shukun “The Silent Killer” Fang “most improved time, first-race-to-last” Female ≤ 50 winner: w/ 3:18 improvement
*
(* Turnaround sign stolen before her start and she turned before the pavement marking. She freely admitted the error. One minute “penalty” added, based on her facts,
and computed by S.W.A.G.)
Nico “I don’t take no crap” Wienders “most improved time, first-race-to-last” Male ≤ 50 winner: w/ 1:49 improvement”

A big thanks to Ken Schilling, Greg New, Kevin Sossong, Cyndee Johnson and the other volunteers who made the Spring Time Trial Series so successful!
2. The Gravel Cycling Skills Clinic has now been rescheduled for Saturday, May 25 from 3 pm to 5 pm at the Miccosukee Greenway, Edenfield Road Trailhead. The clinic will be taught by Roger Hawkes from Hubs
& Hops (hubsandhops.com). Thanks Roger!
The clinic is open to all CCC members. There is no charge, but pre-registration at https://cccyclists.org/content.aspx?page_id=4002&club_id=105555&item_id=2285204 is requested so that we can give Roger an
accurate head count and roster.
3. The monthly 10-10-10 ride is next Saturday. This is a great ride for new riders and anyone who would enjoy a shorter, social ride on the St. Mark’s Trail.
4. We still need volunteers to serve as substitutes for Garry to help lead the Wednesday and Friday “Riding, Not Working” rides over the summer. Please let me know if you can help.
