CCC Rides

CCC Group Rides for the Upcoming Week
Author Last Post
Special Announcements:

1.  Ken Schilling has volunteered to run a CCC 10k Time Trial Series for CCC members.  We are still finalizing a few details and expect to open registration early this week.  I’ll send out a follow-up email with registration details.  The time trial series will be held on Saturday afternoons for four weeks in a row starting on Saturday, March 30 and ending on Saturday, April 20.  All riders should arrive by 2 pm.  The location is Natural Bridge Battlefield Historic State Park, 7502 Natural Bridge Road, Tallahassee FL 32305.  There is no cost to participate.  All CCC members are encouraged to participate.  You do not have to be a “racer” type and no special bike or other equipment is needed.  You are competing against the clock with the objective of trying to improve your time over the four Saturday series.  Riders are encouraged to ride all four of the Saturdays, but that is not required.  Come out at ride as many Saturdays as you can.

2.  Unfortunately, the Gravel Cycling Skills Clinic that had been scheduled for March 24 has been canceled due to an instructor scheduling conflict.  We will try to reschedule the clinic at some point once Neil Dimacali, the instructor, becomes available again, or when we can find another instructor to substitute for Neil.  If anyone would like to volunteer to substitute for Neil, please let me know.
