Howdy, all:
Asom Shakh, sh.asom@gmail.com (847) 621-4388, an FSU
Grad student from Azerbaijan, would very much like to become a part of our
cycling community and join weekly group rides.
He seems most competent and capable on the dirt with his
dual-suspension Mountain Bike but is at a big disadvantage on pavement.
It’s my biased assumption that a few of you folk have an ol’
56-58cm (…or larger?) 9-10 speed that you haven’t taken on the road since, oh,
2017 and might like to see it used again.
If you got one and are weary of gazing at it, won’t you
please contact Asom (...say it sorta like "Awe-some")? I feel certain
that he would waste no time in getting yer old steed refurbished, shined up and putting some quality
pavement miles on it.
Also, he’d like to develop his off-road skills and would
appreciate recommendations on how to find/join any beginner/training dirt/trail
rides.
Thanks for any consideration.
So, how
do you know if a Sniper really likes you?
They keep missing you. -- Ken Schilling
