Howdy, All:
Hey, it rained! Hope
you got some and that yer trees and bushes are starting to stand up again. Fingers crossed we get more, yes? Then if my corrective lenses are, well,
correct, the ol’ crystal-ball-o’-weather-prognostication showed me that Sat/Sun
mornings should be relatively rain-free.
Care to ride with others?
OK. Please allow me to save you a
very short trip to the Event
Calendar and suggest:
Saturday: Good 'ol Saturday
Chaires (…the start time is 8:30
but will change to 9:00 October 4* and remain that through year’s-end.)
…and
while I’m on the topic of “Saturdays”, please overlook my inability to read
a calendar and clearly communicate, per yesterday’s “Time Trial Reminder”. The first of 4 Club events is scheduled for a
week from tomorrow, (“Saturday, week”,
perhaps?) and I will be manning the TT course. May all of you who ride Chaires next Saturday*
have a great time.
Sunday: West
Lake Road Ride (C+/B- pace, 28 miles) or TS
Green, W. Lake, Reeves Fish Camp 35 Miles West Lake goes out @ 8:00 and Reeves Fish Camp @ 9:00
(…Note: Sadly, the recurring “The Pig Ride” seems to have gone to that great BBQ joint in the sky because it has vanished from the
Calendar. Anyone care to organize
another?)
The other day, I met a
microbiologist. Funny thing: turns out that she was bigger than I thought
