We are moving the Tuesday Wacissa ride to the Miccosukee ball field tomorrow, same start at 9 am. We have encountered graders and big trucks on our last couple of rides, and there is evidence of timbering. Last week we had to ride over freshlybgraded dirt and rick for maybe a mile on our return trip and that was rough. I contacted the forestry service and there will be a lot of logging activity this week and possibly next. So for safety and to not make ourselves a nuisance, we are moving our gravel ride this week and possibly next week as well.
Good news is, they have extended the lime rock road all the way to Natural Bridge. We will be able to ride further west past the Horseshoe loop, and then south to Natural Bridge. They also put a new culvert in at the deepest water crossing! Cooler weather coming and we have some exploring to do out there!
