Howdy, All:
Hey, look…the thermometer has crept below “broil” for the
first time in, like, forever. So if that
fact motivates you to put on yer jaunty cycling kits and clip in, allow me to save
you a trip to the Event Calendar and ask you to consider
participating in these CCC offerings:
Saturday: Ride
to Eat (C+/B- Pace, 28 miles) (…you have my apologies for overlooking
last week’s 10-10-10 ride) or Good
ol' Saturday Chaires (…A good
ride last week, huh guys? Let’s do it
again. And sure, depending on who shows
and what the consensus is, a “B” group could form…and, wait for it: more miles
with Saturday Chaires: 54 mile version…decide
at the “Church rest stop”…)
Sunday: West Lake Road Ride (C+/B- pace, 28 miles) or Sunday Classics - Lake Iamonia
Ride (B+, 36 miles) (…Yes,
we will do this ride unless it’s raining on you when packing to leave for the
ride. Remember to consider yer tire/air
pressure choices because there will be some rough pavement…adds to the charm…)
So, when the Hubble Space Telescope sent back the
first ever photograph of an actual Black Hole, astrophysicists at the Jet
Propulsion Lab were “mixed” in their reviews.
Most thought it really sucked.
