Spaghetti 100! October 11th |
|
 Last Updated 8/9/2008 |
The Capital City Cyclists are proud to present the 25th Annual Spaghetti 100 on Saturday, October 11, 2008. The ride has options of a 100 mile and 100 kilometer road ride, or a 100 kilometer dirt road ride.
All rides leave from the Miccosukee Community Center (see map), and ride north through scenic North Florida and South Georgia. The road route takes riders through historic Thomasville and Boston, Georgia, then through Monticello, Florida. The dirt road course is non-technical and follows beautiful, canopied clay roads through quail plantations. Approximately ten miles of the route will be on paved roads. In the event of rain, which turns the clay into deep mud, riders can switch to the metric or century road ride.

After the early registration date, add $8 for all categories.
Parking is limited. If possible, please carpool to Miccosukee. Since the community center is located in a residential area, we will want to be as quiet as possible in the morning. Because of the hardwood floors, we ask that you not wear cleated cycling shoes in the community center.
The Post-Ride feast will be served from 1 to 4:30 PM at the Miccosukee Community Center. Spaghetti (meat sauce or vegetarian), salad, and bread will be offered along with dessert and drinks. Additional meals for non-riders can be purchased along with registration.
