THE FOUNDATION FOR LEON COUNTY SCHOOLS STOMPING OUT TYPE-2 DIABETES
MOUNTAINBIKE RACE AT TOM BROWN PARK

Because more than 1/3 of the students enrolled in our public schools is at risk for Type 2 Diabetes due to poor diet and lack of exercise, the Foundation for Leon County Schools, TMH, City of Tallahassee, Gulf Winds Track Club, and Capital City Cyclists are raising community awareness and funds to support wellness programs in our schools. The Foundation invites you to join the "Schools Stomping Out Type 2 Diabetes Program" by spending a day of mountainbike racing at Tom Brown Park in beautiful Tallahassee, Florida. Proceeds of this event go to the Foundation to fund fitness and wellness programs for Leon County Schools. There will be prizes for the top finishers of each category.
